L'Atelier de Balthus
"With a trembling hand, he opens the garden gate, crosses the road and rushes into his studio where his hand stops shaking, his eyes are no longer troubled. He forgets the pain. He forgets time. "

Balthus set up his studio in an annex overlooking the Grand Chalet which once served as a garage. Today, pigments and brushes stand alongside barely touched canvases and other unfinished work of the artist.
It is actually closed to the public. We will let know here if and when it will be reopen any time soon.
